After the Orgasm!
After the Orgasm!
What different things do you think couples could do to intensify the sensation post-orgasm?
A good way for a couple to intensify their post-orgasmic sensations is to simply continue stroking each other. Most couples end up with, e.g., the person on top collapsed on to the other or just lying still and hugging. Hugging is good but even better is they should give each other a series of small, delicate strokes and small circular massaging motions. These should be applied particularly to the areas where the skin is thin and fine - the inner wrist, the inner thigh, breasts and buttocks. Such stimulation will sustain some orgasmic sensations. After orgasm many women can’t bear to be touched directly on their genitals but respond well to this.
Why would doing these things intensify the sensation?
Post-orgasm we usually come to a crashing standstill. This abrupt end to lovemaking doesn't take advantage of the fact that our bodies are receptive to a little additional stimulation. It's like the ripple affect after a wave crashes - encourage those ripples to continue to ripple outwards! Also such small, pleasurable and rhythmic stroking stimulates the release of Oxytocin the emotional bonding hormone. This gives a sense of well-being and so continues the sense of well-being from having had an orgasm.
What could be done to continue the orgasm?
Regular pelvic floor muscle exercises that strengthen the vagina and the supporting "sling" of muscles in the pelvis leads to enhanced orgasm. Not only are the orgasmic contractions more powerful but they last longer. Once a woman has strengthened her pelvic floor muscles this can be taken to the next level. Just as she reaches orgasm she come contract them a couple times, she can do this during orgasm and at the very end heightening her experience. Some people often find two or three rapid "wiggles" of their hips during orgasm heightens to and lengthens their pleasure. As long as the wiggles are small and so the man doesn't slip out of the vagina. A change in your breathing pattern can also prolong orgasm. Most people breathe rapidly and shallowly during orgasm. If you let go of a breath slowly and in a controlled fashion it helps you gain control of your orgasm, making you able to prolong it if possible.
