More sex chat, keep thinking of the planet, stress levels...
Tonight after 815 I'm chatting to Sue Marchant over at BBC Radio Cambridgeshire - one of the loveliest radio presenters to work with because everything’s so natural with her... nothing contrived or pretentious. I'm not sure which way she wants to go discussing my new book Steamy Sex.
One thing I’m frequently asked is whether or not a person’s fantasy life is too kinky. My rule of thumb is: as long as your fantasy life is ‘legal’ then it's not too kinky... so whether you're fantasising about having group sex, a bit of S&M, or whatever - if you couldn't get arrested for it in the privacy of your own home then it's up to you what you fantasise about. Doesn't mean you have to play it out!
The X Factor rows rumble on - was it fair keeping Cher? Could Simon Cowell have paid for any more publicity this year than what's been generated by all these rows? A publicity dream - believe me not a nightmare for him!
Oh dear, just because some of the climate change scientists are saying they've got some aspects of their research potentially wrong doesn't mean we can treat the planet any old way we want. .. as some headlines would have you believe today. The truth is they’re saying they may have underestimated other looming environmental problems.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: sorry, but if you can’t try in at least the smallest ways to make your life greener than I think you're lazy and selfish. A simple thought today but a truth.
One of my closest, most loved, childhood friends - she’s essentially a sister to me - has had a heart attack - she's an incredibly fit and sporty woman - the last person you’d expect to have a heart attack. Turns out she has a congenital narrowing of an artery plus too much stress. Spoke with her for an hour yesterday to try and boost her spirits.
Crikey, I know too many people with too much stress including myself at times. Check out the "powerful living" section on my homepage for some stress advice.
Mark Steel was on top form recording a panel show for the History Channel last night at the Clapham Grand - what a place, steeped in the history of entertainment and partying!
The spy who loved me tale rumbles on - so what do you think drew the young blonde Katia to be your aide, Mike? As in Mike Hancock MP.
What a classic tale of a man’s head being turned by youth and beauty...he's been convinced that his aide wouldn't be a spy. Goodness how easily middle-aged, paunchy, and grey men have their heads turned and sensible-side turned off!
Take a look at "your e-mail of the week" if you're in a long-term relationship that’s struggling.
Keep warm, Pam X
