I use acrylic paints, and as well as brushes, I use feathers, sponges, sandpaper and other implements to create different textures and effects. Inspiration for my paintings mainly comes from the powerful stories of the incredible people I've met. We can all relate to something in their experiences of loss, renewal, wellbeing and relationship issues, as well as personal growth, their hopes, dreams and desires.
It's a quirk but when I hear emotional stories I often experience colourful 'sensations' whirling through my mind that I then paint from.
Here is a selection of paintings. PLEASE NOTE: when a painting is sold I leave it on-site! This is because I've had a number of commissions based on, for example, my first "Peacock Dreams" painting (that was sold ages ago).
