Those lovely Loose Women and works in progress...
I'm very excited about going on Loose Women today - it's always a laugh, sometimes challenging with everyone's points of view (often very different!), but definitely not to be missed. The producer told me that I'm today's panel areas Andrea, Carol, Zoe and Lesley.
We're going to be talking about happiness and understanding your unhappiness because of my new book "How To Be a Happy Human" coming out in the next week or two.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: writing Happy Human last year - for publication this month - was like giving birth to a baby. I'd been collecting interviews about happiness and unhappiness for so long, speaking to thousands of people, writing notes, etc., that it seemed to be a continual work in progress.
The way I see it and what kept me going was that I 100% believed it was a worthwhile project and my heart was completely in it. And if I wrote a little bit each day then it didn't seem like a massive mountain to climb. If you've got some work in progress - maybe a project at work, or a report to write, even working on a relationship! - then try tackling a little bit at a time, without looking too far ahead to the future as that can be daunting.
Btw, if you want some inexpensive or even free Mother's day ideas then check out my article on MSN.co.uk.
After Loose Women I'm finishing a big dating project for iVillage.co.uk - I'll let you know when it goes live - because if you're single it's going to have lots of tips you..
Have a lovely weekend, love, Pam X
