Blowing hot and cold, phone sex, in love with two men....
Had quite a few dilemmas last night on my agony slot (I join Sue Marchant regularly on her BBC Eastern regions show) including one from a man about a woman who was blowing hot and cold.
There are two main reasons for this upsetting behaviour - either they're just not that bothered (tough but got to face it if true) or they have a load on their plate and just don't have the time to always be interested.
My iVillage.co.uk weekly blog goes live later today - it's from a woman whose partner has joined the Army and she wanted to know about phone sex. It's fun and easy to do... start by flirting down the phone and then turn up the heat. From ‘flirty to dirty’ in a few minutes and you two will have a great time.
And if you say something silly? Laugh - you care about each other it shouldn't spoil the moment.
Had a great time out at Sky news yesterday - a fab team to work with.
Are you a woman who feels that you're in love with two men? Not that you're cheating on your partner - but you have a partner that you love - plus you also love another man. Research just out says 25% of women find themselves in this situation.
Quite frankly I’d think it was more - so many women are still in love with their ex, or they're in love with their best guy-pal, or they're in love with a male colleague - it's very common.
The crucial thing is to keep your boundaries tight and don't cheat on your partner!!
TODAY’S TIP: if you're in this situation - loving two men - accept that the man who isn't your partner can seem very appealing. so appealing that you put them on a pedestal because they don't share the daily chores, household budgeting, and all the boring stuff that your actual partner shares with you.
It can become a slippery slope - that second man fulfills the fun and laughter you might crave outside of your home life. Put it in perspective, keep your boundaries strong, and realise that turning the love for another man into an affair is bound to end in tears - I've heard this 1 million times!
Hope to catch a bit of Miles Kane in the Radio 1 live lounge today while I'm working on my new book. I miss Steve Harris in the evenings at Xfm - his energy and humour - and cheekiness. If I've got the radio on in the evening I used alternate between him and the Zane Lowe - depending who had been better band or artist on.
Mary Anne Hobbs is in Steve's old slot - she's amazing - knows her music - but her voice is so smooth and soothing and lovely that I want to curl up and go to bed - wish she was on later in the evening. Last night caught some of her interview with AWOL Nation - love that guy though he started getting a bit random talking about aliens.
Enjoy your day, Pam x
