Shy guys, sex toys, having babies, beauty is only skin deep...
It's Friday and I've got something for the weekend if you're a guy who finds it hard to chat to women I've posted a short article with some detailed tips to try. Take a look on my homepage at "hot off the press" - that's where you'll find it. I've had lots of e-mails about this topic recently so I hope it helps.
Busted... Rhianna was caught shopping in a sex shop. Ha ha, the last time a girlfriend and I popped into one for a laugh it was mid-afternoon - had sunglasses on and coat collar pulled up - looked like a spy! Have no qualms about shopping for fun things but I don't want to be asked for sex advice in the middle of a shop if someone clocks I'm "that sex writer"...it happens.
Uh oh, Lord Sugar's opening a can of worms suggesting that employers should have the right to ask women about their baby plans. Honestly, without women having babies there’d be no children - what's he thinking?
One area I do think should be changed is that women on maternity-leave should have a clear plan about when they're coming back - seems only fair to let their employer know.
Lily Allen supposedly wants to be an X Factor judge - think she'd be brilliant - outspoken and with a talent for lyrics so she knows what she's talking about.
Shocking pic of Mad Men's January Jones looking far too thin... you might be asking why such a beautiful actress would be starving herself? Because at an emotional level she doesn't feel beautiful inside. Beauty's only skin deep after all.
Yay, going to dinner at a friend’s house this weekend - means I don't have to cook and after my last two dinner party failures I think I'm only going to cook for family in the next couple months and hone my skills.
The only thing I've done well were my yummy chocolate brownies - but I can’t "let them eat brownies"! There's one set of friends where we always get a takeaway - the four of us have agreed there's no shame in not cooking.
Maybe I should just tell other people when they come over that they’re getting takeaway... what's more important: seeing friends and giving them takeaways V seeing friends and giving them a bad meal??
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Back to the article I've just posted for guys who are pretty shy - remember you undoubtedly have tons of good qualities and your shyness just stops them from shining through. Believe in yourself - and that goes for everyone.
Have a lovely weekend, Pam X
