Reality shows plus the real reality...
JUST POSTED AN EXTRA YOUR EMAIL OF THE WEEK - in answer to Jim. Click on the 'gold star'. on my homepage.
Chatting to Joanne over at BBC Radio West Midlands at 11:10 AM - her programme can be lively and I'm looking forward to discussing dilemmas from my new book Steamy Sex.
Seeing as it's a mid-morning chat I don't think we'll be talking about the kinky things in my guide.
Looking forward to seeing comedian Mark Steel record a programme tonight - if you listen to Radio 4 comedy you'll know he's a smart, funny man.
Fab that Matt and Rebecca are through to the X Factor final - they both have amazing, unique voices.
Sack the stylist - Alexander Burke looked like a choir singer. And that song? She’s at her best with a pop-tastic song or a great ballad with a hook – but where was the hook? A tuneless and unmemorable ballad.
Loved the Black Eyed Peas' ... dancers - amazing costumes ... not the Peas best song, a bit too Euro-trash-pop.
Not been watching Strictly but seeing the photos of Scott Maslen shirtless in the press today, maybe I should’ve been.
Go, Stacey, go! Brill that she won "I'm a celebrity" - love the fact the nation chose the nicest person - she should become a pinup girl for anti-bullying and a kinder, gentler society.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: enough about reality television - it's so easy to get hooked into it - like ice cream for the brain - it’s creamy and smooth and goes down a treat but will turn over brains to mush.
So I'm hoping that realities like what's happening with the climate change talks in Cancun might stimulate people to think - in this case about cutting down their energy usage. For instance when you're all crowded around the X Factor final next week, switch off the lights and if you are in the cinema.
I always do this even when we have friends over watching something like a DVD + pizza night. But then again they know I'm very strict about energy usage. Have to make up for where I use too much.
I've heard from a friend who's reporting on the talks - it’s troublesome as in Copenhagen last year - so many people with so many different agendas. Even if they can’t agree the very least we should do is make changes in our own lives.
Think you've got the point! Happy Monday, Pam x
