Commitment isn't just about relationships, celebs watching, SAD strikes...
I've written about commitment and usually it's about men who find it hard to "do" emotional intimacy. But commitment issues worm their way into many areas of our lives and I've done a quiz about this that's gone live on the MSN Him channel. Check out how you place on this quiz - especially if deep down you know you find it hard to get involved with things at a deeper level.
Back over to Let's Talk Sex [Sky Channel 275] tonight at 10:45 PM to chat about celebrity sex lives and relationships and what we can learn from them. Lots of good stories on the agenda tonight! It's too bad some viewers have problems with reception but I know the channel's sorting it out.
On the way home from drinks with friends in Soho last night I caught some of the Radio 1 review show - love Nihal - he gets so excited about different music genres. Heard the new Enter Shakari for the second time - still hasn't grown on me - they're mixing too many genres in this track... if you're finding it hard to get up in the morning you could try playing it - would shake you awake!
Have had a fair few e-mails about seasonal affective disorder [SAD] kicking in now the sunshine has gone. [btw, tomorrow's Thursday I'll be posting a new "your e-mail of the week" – select on the gold star on my homepage to get in touch]. People have been surprised about the vengeance with which it's kicked in - especially with the sunshine we had only recently.
TODAY’S TIP: your brain chemistry can change very quickly with SAD - that's what underlies it. My very best tip is to get a proper lightbox from a high street chemist or reputable distributor.
I count on my lightbox - it's on my desk - I switch it on when I'm working the first couple hours of the day.
Please don't think there's nothing you can do about SAD - it's completely manageable.
Good luck sorting it out, Pam x
