Schmaltzy X Factor song and crashing Christmas trees...
Came down into the sitting room to find our beautiful Christmas tree had fallen over in the night - think the temperature change altered the balance - what a mess! We'll be redecorating tonight. A great start to a Monday!
I'd written a feature in today's Express Newspaper about "great Christmas expectations" and how stressed many women get over trying to have the perfect Walton family Christmas. It's just not like that between running yourself ragged trying to create the perfect Christmas and family members not being on the same page.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: so it's time to prioritise your Christmas list into two separate ones - the things you really need to do and things you can just left undone. Because who’ll really notice besides yourself whether you've made or bought mince pies, whether you've put up every decoration perfectly and all those sorts of worries?
Then I had a rather sexy piece in today's Star Newspaper - if you top tips for getting you and your partner feeling warm and cuddly.
Now for the X Factor single - what a forgettable, schmaltzy tune! Doesn't matter who's singing it, it's completely unmemorable. I hope Rage Against the Machine are number one for Christmas! I also hope we'll see Olly’s cheeky smile for awhile.
Have a lovely Monday, between meetings I'm having a girl's Christmas lunch - hopefully it'll end at lunchtime and not carrying on till teatime! Pam X
