Don't do a Simon Cowell, find some modesty, don't fuel your friends' feud...
Hey guys, please don't do a ‘Simon Cowell’ and walk around with your shirt unbuttoned - it's not a good look even if you have an athletic chest!
Evidently he’s started this worrying trend that smacks of film character Austin Powers-type behaviour - plus the thought of someone's chest hair falling out on the table while you chat turns the stomach... need I say more.
You've got to feel for new X Factor judge Tulisa getting a hard time from the audience that clearly want Cheryl Cole back. It's not her fault the X Factor execs couldn't sort it was Cheryl. Cheryl was an excellent judge but things have moved on - give the new girl a break.
Earth calling Nancy ‘of the oil’ (I think that's the translation)- the sultry Italian made famous by her relationship with Sven Goran Eriksson - time to bag yourself a bit of modesty. There’s nothing wrong with confidence - in fact it's a good thing to have - but to shout to the world how beautiful, enchanting and entrancing, intelligent and captivating you are makes others want to reach for the sick bag.
What does a girl do when two gal pals fall out?? Arghhh, in that situation right now. I just want to knock their two heads together! And it's over something petty - it's not like one of them stole the other's husband or something. T
he crime at the heart of this? One of them had great news and the other was the last to hear it so she's incredibly annoyed feeling that as an old friend she should’ve been one of the first to know.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: friends falling out is not uncommon - but at least you'd think they'd find something worthwhile to argue over. What am I going to do? I definitely won't take sides - and I'll agree not to discuss their differences with either of them until they things out between them.
I've seen this time and again when a third friend tries to sort it out between the other two friends - and it ends up a disastrous three-way row.
If you're in this situation you don't have to become the referee between your two friends. Stay silent and don't fuel their feud thinking you're being helpful...they'll probably make it up and then take issue with you for getting involved!
Great to hear Chop Suey by System of a Down - it's been ages - forgot it's the perfect tune to get you going after a bad night's sleep when you can barely drag yourself out of bed...as happened to me the other day... I'm usually very good at switching off but not this time - 100 competing thoughts were tumbling through my tiny brain... didn't know I had so much room up there.
Happy Wednesday, Pam X
