Stop and take a moment...
Had an early start only made better by listening to Mark Ronson's album … you know I'm no good at early starts but have to get to a meeting about a new book. All very exciting!
Amazing photographs of the Chilean miners and their rescue - evidently a Chilean filmmaker is already on the scene but I'm sure Hollywood is ready to make it into a taut psychological thriller. Good luck to them I hope they have a gentle 'easing' back into real life again and they get well compensated.
Just after 2 PM I'm going to be speaking to Jonathan and Claire on Dublin radio about the miner with the wife and mistress.. uh oh, who's been a naughty boy then? And what a way to get caught out, being trapped in mine with no control over the wife finding out about the mistress!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: but back to those miners re-entering their life - it makes me think being thankful for all those precious moments you get with people you care about.
Every day I force myself to stop and think in-between meetings, the projects, the work, writing articles, etc., and just remind myself of what makes life meaningful. Like catching up with an old friend last night over a casual dinner.
Having just written the word "in-between" - I've got to say the last couple episodes of E4’s The Inbetweeners have been a bit too near the mark… even for my earthy sense of humour.
Later on I'm posting a new "your e-mail of the week" - check it out, e-mail me and it might be yours. Thanks to everyone who e-mails!
It might be grey out but have an amazing day, Pam X
