Don't rush introducing new boyfriends, if you sense it's 'bad' it probably is...
So unbelievable that New Zealand’s been hit by another catastrophic earthquake. Having been through a couple of small earthquakes in California I know even those are terrifying. Thankfully they have determined group of emergency workers doing everything humanly possible to help those trapped.
Away from such sad news and over to the fact the Foos are back with amazing new tune Rope - can't wait for the album!
The new dilemma on my weekly iVillage.co.uk blog has gone live - I was so 'happy' to tackle this issue from a divorced mother who was trying to put the needs of her child first when it comes to meeting her new boyfriend.
I say ‘happy’ because sadly I hear far too many stories of women who have a ‘revolving door policy’ bringing men in and out of their homes - not thinking how this affects their children. Take a look at my advice if you're thinking of introducing your children to the new person in your life... something not to be taken lightly.
I know I said I was going to boycott EastEnders because of my frustration over the baby-swap story, but no, I can't quite give it up... I do think they're portraying Whitney as more dimwitted than she actually would be when it comes to the evil doings of Janine. It's like Whitney can’t see the big, bold writing on the wall with Janine's bad behaviour.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if something doesn't feel right to you, it probably isn't right! So don't do a Whitney and bury your head in the sand. Challenge that person who might be taking advantage - you can always do so in a calm and considered way. It doesn't have to be fireworks!
I'd be rich if I had £1 for every time someone told me they sensed someone was doing something wrong but didn't say anything until it was too late. Don't let that be you.
Supposed to catch up with a couple pals tonight that I don't see very often but this cold has turned into a very bad throat so might have to cancel - boo.
Hope you're well and not struggling with this nasty bug doing the rounds, Pam X
