Families and back to BBLB...
Just about to head out to Sussex to my hubby's family’s reunion (I thought it was in Surrey but it turns out that we're going down to somewhere near Brighton) - he's got loads of cousins and we haven't seen many of them for ages - decade in some cases. Should be fun with a great big barbecue (under the cloudy bank holiday sky!).
Looking forward to going back to do BBLB on Wednesday - the Ultimate Big Brother series is shaping up to be fairly crazy. We'll be discussing those naughty celebrities and their behaviour.
The Proms on Friday night was fantastic - music from three composers. I hear from friends at the Reading Festival that despite the mud it's been fab. And from another pal that Die Antwoord were incredible in Victoria Park, London yesterday. Would've loved to have seen some of this music except we've got my lovely mum-in-law visiting for the whole weekend.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I'm having a very family orientated weekend. I hope you’re managing to catch up with yours. A friend has recently fallen out with her sister and as I said to her, all families have fallings out. But it's being able to heal those rifts and move on that's what makes family so important… we have that shared history together. Pick up the phone if you've had a falling out. Being the first to try and put it behind you can be a bit scary - but worth the effort!
Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday, Pam X
