Let little girls BE little girls!
Talk about growing up too quickly I was stunned to see the pictures of Katie and Suri Cruise in newspapers today - with three-year-old Suri dressed up as a mini version of her mother. Talk about lacking in common sense - why can’t a little girl be like a little girl and not have to worry about things like her wardrobe and stumbling in high heels?? Honestly, what they evidently spend on her wardrobe could build a ward at a children's hospital!
Yes, of course little girls like to dress up in their mum’s things, in the privacy of their own home - but they shouldn't go outside in heels and expensive clothes. What a waste - and what values does that teach a toddler?
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you have a child that you love and adore, of course you want them to dress up for parties and things, but let them be a little child the rest of the time! They'll be a teenager and then an adult for the rest of their lives, but childhood is short and precious.
Well, I'm glad I got that off my chest! Now for something lighter - listened to Flo Rida for a start to the day that made me feel like going out clubbing!
Enjoy your day, Pam x
