Plan P, What's lurking beneath that super shy exterior, Mother's Day on the budget,
BIG NEWS - I'm retraining as a soul singer - I'm going to call myself Plan P! Will fill you in when I have time!
Interesting to see that Leona Lewis is undergoing a "rebranding"... suddenly she's become a party girl. One thing I know when I meet supposedly super-shy people as Leona first came across when she hit our screens in 2006 is they almost always have a ‘personality’ waiting to burst out.
It can take meeting the right partner to bring out the best in them, a change of heart or something else - suddenly they’re a new person. Always give shy people a second or third chance - you might discover a fun, fab personality lurking under that shy exterior.
Sticking with singers I hope reports that Britney is actually still fragile aren't true...her boys need a stable mother.
Over to EastEnders ... OMG that terrible baby-swap storyline's still going on. I'm a diehard fan – EE’s my guilty pleasure - but I'm about to give up on it.
If you're on a budget but want to do something for Mothering Sunday this weekend then check out "hot off the press" on my homepage - just posted an article on things to do for her that won't cost anything or much at all.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Thinking of mums I'd do anything to have my late-mother back - I used to love spoiling her. If your mother's still with you then make every day precious. You might be super-busy but all you have to do is give her a quick call, ask how she's feeling, tell her a little bit about your day - and you'll make her day!
Tip for some chilled out music - Michael Kiwanuka - he's doing some touring with Adele - when I'm in an MOR state of mind he’s good... middle-of-the-road.
Enjoy your weekend, I know my children are cooking me dinner and they’re a heck of a lot more skilled in the kitchen than I am!
Looking forward to putting my feet up Saturday (plan a lazy weekend) after 3 nights out on the trot (I do live life in reverse - my weeknights are more like weekend nights and some weekends I do NOTHING which is lovely).
Was supposed to go to Glasgow on Sunday and see Robin Ince's and Prof Brian Cox’s show - Uncaged Monkeys - but stuff has got in the way - boo! But now I'm going to catch them when they come to London.
Try and see their show if you can - it's going to be flippin’ brilliant, Pam X p.s. April Fools - if I sang in public the police would be called!
