BBLB and trust issues...
Looking forward to this evening on Big Brother's Little Brother where I'll be talking about the attention seeking behaviour of the Ultimate Big Brother housemates. Should be a fun chat with the lovely Emma Willis.
On my iVillage.co.uk blog this week I've written about a woman's dilemma about her trust issues. So many people have trust issues - they've had their fingers burnt somewhere along the line in a relationship.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: It's crucial to gain your confidence back if you feel you can't trust people. Until you're confident in your own judgment you'll never feel that you can trust anyone. This really is the key. Once you know your judgment-radar is working again - for sorting out people who are likely to treat you badly from people who are likely to treat you well - you're on your way to recovery.
Have just been looking at a few of your e-mails to me (e-mail me at "your e-mail of the week" on my home page) - and I've had a few from the mothers worried about empty nest syndrome. I wrote an article an article about this in the Daily Mail newspaper a couple weeks back - having been through this myself. You do get through it but it took me about three months to adjust when my youngest went to uni. Sounds like a long time, I know, but when they've been under your roof for 18 years, three months isn't that long!
Arrghhh… work is piling up on my desk but at least the sunshine’s out! Hope you've got yours under control, Pam X
