Spare me the cheating celebrities, birthday brunch fit for a queen...
Are you as sick of cheating celebrities as I am? Honestly, why do these people think they'll ever get away with it - so many men willing to cheat and so many women willing to sell their stories that it's an entire industry.
When will these women learn they’re not going to get any more than a good time between the sheets (and maybe not even that!) and they’re are better off with a single man.
And crikey, when are these men going to wake up and realise they can get away with it?
TODAY’S THOUGHT: But that's the ‘ego’ that goes with celebrity - some celebs have such big egos they think they're beyond the "laws" of how we should treat each other.
From TV green rooms, to radio interviews and in my work generally I've met plenty of these people - as well as the women who fall for them - and a simple rule applies:
if they're trying to make you feel good (flirting with you, etc.) about doing something bad (cheating with them) it's never going to end well.
My weekend’s been split between someone being unwell and a family birthday today - TLC for one person - and fun and games for the other. We fixed an amazing birthday brunch - smoked salmon, herb-filled scrambled eggs, mini roast spuds with chilli and garlic, Danish pastries, toast, muffins, fruit salad - enough to keep us happy until teatime.
With chilled-out tunes in the background (Friendly Fires, Two-Door Cinema Club, Arcade Fire, etc.) it was a lovely birthday brunch.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Pam x
