Beware of believing you can change your partner's mind about anything, was it Duncan...
Later today on the Vanessa show I'm part of a lively debate - it's on Channel 5 at 215. I'm not sure how Vanessa gets through her day but I'd like to bottle her energy and have it for myself.
Have just posted a new article (on "hot off the press" on my homepage) about believing it when your partner says something like they don't want to move to a particular area.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I find people live in the land of "wishful thinking" where they think if they keep pressing their point of view they'll get their way. It doesn't work like that!
If your partner’s sure they don't want to move to, e.g., the countryside, you can have row after row about it but at some point you have to listen to their reasons why.
This "I know I can get my way if I just repeat myself enough" mentality comes up repeatedly in my work... think carefully if that might be you and if you’re destroying your relationship because of it.
Lovely to catch up with friends in town last night for drinks after a very long day - I started some whispering when I was convinced Duncan from Blue was in the same bar. I swear it was him but my girlfriends say I need glasses!
Prepare for a stormy weather - not just the thunderstorms due to hit later today but between the coalition government with the LibDems getting hammered.
And on a truly serious note it beggars belief what's happening in Syria - my heart breaks for the human race sometimes.
I've said this before but I think we can be hugely thankful we live in our country. Take care of yourself, Pamx
