Learn to flirt and my fave Chinese saying...PLUS YOUR EMAILS
HAVE JUST POSTED TWO NEW "your e-mails a week" one about a nightmare threesome and one about a woman falling in love with her gay pal.
Two political-types in the press today - one should hang his head in shame for an absolutely tragic, illegal war (Tony Blair) and one is shamefully being pursued by unfounded, Internet rumours (William Hague). There's been so much written about both of them that I won't put my two pence in...my few words say it all.
If you find flirting difficult then please listen in at 10:40 AM today when I'm giving an interview to BBC radio Cumbria about flirting - and making it fun! I've spoken to the morning presenter Liz Rhodes many times before and she's always up for a lively chat. I'll definitely give out some "usable" tips.
In a number of my books I talk about flirting - why we do it, how we do it - I always think there's a place for flirting in sex guides. Because flirting might lead to foreplay and foreplay leads to you-know-where. You'd think it'd come naturally to us but it doesn't for so many people.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I've spoken to thousands of people about things like this on radio shows, TV and face-to-face, and 90% of the time it's anxiety that if you flirt with someone, you'll be rejected, and so you don't even try.
People constantly tell me they’ll come across someone they find attractive at, e.g., a work ‘do’ but they allow anxiety stop them from doing anything. Because inside they’re a mass of quivering, jelly-like nerves. So if anything they give off an anxious, negative vibe rather than a nice flirty one.
I always say go for it! What's the harm if someone doesn't flirt back with you? So what, move on. Always better to take a chance and never take one at all. There is an ancient Chinese saying I live by and it goes like this: better the person who takes one step forward than the person who stands still.
Think about it!
Last night the hubby pulled out the stops for our anniversary dinner and we ended up at the Ivy Club - what a treat! Stuck with a ‘fish theme’ and had gorgeous tiger prawns to start, followed by sea bass pan-fried on artichokes.
I'm away from tonight for 8-9 days so will definitely post a new "your e-mail of the week" later today. As you know I have no one running my site except for me! And I may not have easy access to logging on and updating daily.
It's Friday - enjoy it, Pamx LATER ON - LEAVING NOW - BACK IN 8-9 DAYS - HAVE A FAB WEEK!
