You can overcome the crisis, don't lose your dignity...
Do you quite fancy a friend? Maybe you're in your late 20s to early 30s - then has it crossed your mind that they might be your Plan B? In today's Times newspaper I've written about plan B pacts - where two single friends tell each other they’ll get married down the line if they don't find someone else.
This can work quite well but as my article shows it can also blow your friendship out of the water.
So Cheryl Cole isn’t coming back to the UK X Factor and has been quietly avoiding everyone - she must feel life is tough right now but I hope she's not going through a personal crisis...she has many successes to come. She's probably making a point to old pal Simon Cowell by giving him the silent treatment...though the silent treatment obviously doesn't work with TV executives.
I've just written an article about ‘overcoming a crisis’ - will let you know when it's out. As long as you have love around you, you can get through pretty much anything. Whatever struggle you’re going through take it one step at a time - don't let it overwhelm you.
You don't hear people use the word ‘dignity’ much anymore - but later today on my weekly iVillage.co.uk blog I answer a woman's dilemma about how she can 'get her man' without losing her dignity.
It's one of those tricky situations where she can't tell if he fancies her or not - and she wants to make it clear that she fancies him at a party they’re both going to.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I believe you don't lose your dignity if you make it clear you like someone. You only lose your dignity if you keep pursuing someone when they make it clear they don't fancy you back.
Men like it when a woman signals she likes him - it makes it easier for him to flirt back. If you don't signal it they might hang back as no one likes rejection. So go for it.
Woot - seeing the Kings of Leon at the O2 Arena tomorrow night – soooooo can’t wait!
Happy Tuesday, Pam X
