Where do I start?
Welcome to Monday, where do I start? With the badly behaved football Peter Crouch or the things that really count?
I'm going first with the things that really count and I hope you've counted your blessings and little joys over the weekend. I know I have particularly when thinking of the horrendous floods in Pakistan (hope everybody's giving what they can even if it's a ‘fiver’) as well as the shocking ambush and assassination of the aid workers in Afghanistan last week.
My heart goes out to the fiance of the young doctor, Karen Woo, murdered in cold blood two weeks before their wedding date as well as to the families of the other victims and of those in Pakistan suffering from the powers of natural disasters.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I feel so thankful having had friends over a Saturday night for dinner and one of my children cooked us a delicious meal (have no idea where my children got there culinary talents because it wasn't from me!). And then some of our oldest friends had us to a barbecue in Orpington yesterday and we relaxed in the sunshine with family and friends.
What more could you want? I hope you had some sunny moments with friends and family - treasure them!
Oh gawwd, another day and another footballer behaving badly. What is it with Peter Crouch and allegations he's cheated on fiancé Abbey Clancy?
Not only does he have a beautiful fiancé with her own career but it's so early in their relationship it beggars belief that he'd he have eyes for another woman. Besides the fact they'd just return for a romantic holiday in Sardinia.
But this just confirms to me that some people are never satisfied! Check out my "relationships" section on my homepage for some advice on infidelity.
You'd think I wouldn't be surprised as I've heard countless stories about cheating. But sometimes even I'm surprised when someone seems to have absolutely everything they could want - and they still end up a cheat.
If I was Abbey I’d kick him into touch - definitely wouldn't give him a second chance. If he's cheating already he's going to be cheating down the line.
One of my children was in a nightclub, a summer or two ago, with a group of friends and said Peter was such fun with his robotic dancing. Everyone was dancing and having a good time and they said he came across as such 'a nice guy' - wow, he's obviously a really good actor!
Eek… need to get to work, take care, Pam x
