A little bit of everything...
I once thought about becoming a forensic psychologist but reading the gut-churning story of the Bradford murders I'm glad I didn't. Who’d want to spend their time peering into the darker depths of the serial killers in mind? No way!
In my Love it! mag column this week one question I tackle is about a little bit of 'spanking' in the bedroom - a woman's boyfriend wants her to try it. Hmmm... hanky-spanky instead of hanky-panky! Have a look if your partner's keen and you're not.
I'm glad Pres. Obama is toughening up on the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill - about time to. This horrendous event is a crime against the planet and the people of the Gulf of Mexico. Honestly I believe those responsible should be jailed for life because they've given a life sentence of environmental decay to the Gulf of Mexico.
So Cheryl and Ashley are going to divorce - and thankfully with their high earnings it sounds like they won't squabble over money. Completely the right thing because obviously he couldn't stay faithful. I do love the pop-tastic-ness of Cheryl's music career but the bit of live singing she did at The Radio One Big Weekend was enough to send one of my cats skittering for cover.
Yay - looking forward to seeing We Will Rock You tonight - regret not saving seen Queen and the phenomenal front man Freddie Mercury when he was still alive.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: seize every moment and little opportunity that comes your way. I had the chance to see Queen a couple times before Freddie died and passed it up. It's so easy to think there'd be another chance, another time - but so often there isn't.
Shortly before my father died I asked him what would be his one piece of advice for living a good life and he said, "seize opportunities with both hands!" I think he meant the bigger opportunities of life, too, but I also have little ones in mind today.
Thanks for some of your comments about the Maldives - I may just use those as "your e-mail of the week" next week. Keep your e-mails coming!
Enjoy your Friday, Pam X
