Who needs toxic friends? Be a fairy god mother or father!
Absolutely loving Homeland - Damian Lewis and the whole cast are fab. It taps into our darker fears about trust, loyalty and betrayal.
I've had lots of e-mails about broken trust recently - and not just about sex flings and infidelity - but about friends behaving in a quite frankly completely naff way.
Now some friends just are a bit toxic anyway - always put themselves first, will dump you at the drop of a hat for some better invitation, will bitch about you and then be friendly to your face... like you need that sort of friend!?
Others suddenly do something out of character - but it can throw your whole friendship into doubt.
Why don't we all be fairy godparents today and give what we can? It doesn't have to be cash but friendship, kindness and all those good things. In the German town of Braunschweig a real-life fairytale is happening where someone is leaving envelopes stuffed with cash.
TODAY’S TIP: Back to a friendship that's been damaged - if your friend is a really good friend it has done something out of character to upset you take the bull by the horns, sit them down and hash it out.
Find out what motivated them - had something happen to them that just made them react badly including to you their best friend?
Did they get something wrong and thought you behave badly to them?
It's worth salvaging your friendship - don't let one bad incident destroy it.
But if they're toxic and repeatedly upset you - I think you know what to do you!
Happy Monday, Pamx
