Men and their way of communicating...
It's properly CHILLY and grey today - have my lightbox on as I write - if you suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) I recommend you use one too.
Simon Cowell knew exactly what he was doing with Jedward and Lucy last night - just as he did a week before with Lloyd and Rachel. It's a travesty losing real talent the last couple weeks but that doesn't concern a man who wants to squeeze the most possible financial/commercial success out of The X Factor. The twins get the show too much publicity!
York is a wonderful a city - just as I was told. After a 2:30 AM finish to our friend’s birthday celebrations on Friday night we took a long walk on Saturday inside the walled city and along the wall itself - all beautifully maintained. Having just read Shakespeare's Richard III (don't ask!) it was fantastic to see all the historical references to the houses of Lancaster and York.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: forget 'girls talk' what about men and talking? I have a feature in today's Express newspaper about getting men to communicate and one thing's for sure you can’t pester a man into opening up about something that’s troubling him. Although many would hate the fact I've highlighted this difference between men and women it's absolutely true for many men. We are simply NOT the same - and many men won't open the way your girlfriends will. As with all the differences between men and women I see 'viva la difference'!
Was invited to see the new Vivienne Westwood collection at Selfridge's this evening by a friend but sadly work meetings are taking me through early evening - not that I could afford even a handier by Viv.
Love as always, Pam X p.s. just heard that my slot tomorrow on Dublin Newstalk radio 106-108 FM is going to be at 10 AM rather than 11 AM just for this week - catch it on the Net if you can - you could even send in a problem!
