Sloppy snogs, relationship issues, and chocolate...
One of the dilemmas I'm going to discuss on my weekly ‘agony’ slot on Dublin News talk radio after 10 AM is a woman who adores her new boyfriend but there's one problem… he's a terrible kisser.
Let's face it, a sloppy snog can put you right off! Listen in on the Net for my tips if you've got someone who needs a tip or two in your life.
Watch out boys - today on iVillage.co.uk I've written an article about how to reel in a man who doesn't realise he's "the one"! Check it out for some subtle strategies to get him hooked.
Saw a screening the new universal film The Kids Are All Right last night in Soho. Annette Bening and Julianne Moore play a lesbian couple who have two children by a sperm donor. Now the children are in their teens and you can guess where this is going… they discover his identity and meet him on the sly and it all gets very complicated.
I love the way it raises some hot topics and handles them without losing its sense of humour as a film. It's not out until October.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: one relationship issue that is played out in the film (I won't give you the details so I don't spoil it for you) is that when something awful happens in your relationship - you do go through a horrible time - but you come out the other end. There is always hope no matter how awful it feels.
Hang on to that if you are having a horrible time in your relationship. Hunker down, take one-day at a time, and definitely confide in someone you trust.
Weh-hey! I'm quids in... yet another report out that a little bit of chocolate a day keeps the doctor away - my greatest vice is chocolate. Literally, I get cravings if I don't have it every day. I'm talking mean-tempered, don't go near her until she's had her fix, type-cravings
So I have another excuse to indulge myself and not worry about it! Made some amazing chocolate meringues for friends at the weekend - even if I do say so myself! I 'peppered' them with walnut chunks before they were baked and mix of chocolatey-meringue and walnut was a little bit Heaven.
Love, Pam X
