‘Fashionable’ behaviour, giving thanks, some parents can’t be forgiven...
Off to pre-record a fun item for BBC Breakfast TV - think it's going out Thursday morning. It's something about fashion and human behaviour - and that's all I can reveal.
Was sooooo surprised by Craig leaving the X Factor last night...his sing off was beautiful - sure it won't be the last we see of him. Was fairly horrible watching Misha B repeatedly welling up on Saturday night. Evidently her mother who abandoned her when she was three months old wants to get back into her life. That must raise all sorts of questions in Misha's mind and emotions in her heart.
On Thursday it's Thanksgiving in America and yesterday we had our big family and close friends celebration. It was fantastic sit around the table with people you love and have an amazing feast - we made pumpkin pie and pecan pie to my late-mother's recipes and of course turkey with all the trimmings. I try and same things everyday but it's nice to have special occasions like this.
TODAY’S TIP: back to parents like those experienced by Misha - there are some parents who can never be forgiven for terribly mistreating their children. And there are others where for whatever circumstances forgiveness will help heal things.
If you had a difficult time as a child - because your parents were not parents we all hope to have - you have to decide in your own heart what's best for you.
Not what's best for your parent - but what will help you. After all you were the innocent child who was mistreated.
I wish you so much luck in healing as these things have a way of hanging around in your heart and sometimes profoundly messing with your head.
Take care, Pam x
