Lucky me and loyalty...
Another beautiful morning - so grateful for this weather!
Yesterday I spoke to 2 wonderful female radio presenters and today I'm being interviewed by two of my very most favourite male radio presenters! At 10 AM I'm doing my weekly slot on Tom Dunne’s Dublin newstalk show but today instead of doing our usual agony/dilemmas calls, he’s interviewing me about my new book How to be a Happy human. Then after 430 this afternoon I'm speaking to the marvellous Mark Carter who is the drive Time presenter on BBC radio Surrey. Mark and I go back a few years and not only is he a wonderful person but also a lively and fun presenter. Plus not only are Tom and Mark two great presenters but they're both handsome to boot - lucky me!
But between these interviews somehow I'm squeezing in meetings and getting my highlights done. Omg do I ever need them topping up! I've been going to Joanne since I was 30 and she does a fab job.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: So that makes me think about loyalty. In the last decade Joanne’s moved between three or four salons and I’ve stuck with her all the way even if it hasn't been convenient. I do so because she does a good job on my highlights that she’s also just a really nice woman. So that's loyalty - to your hairdresser who are worth their weight in gold when they’re good!
But of course loyalty plays into so many of our relationships - particularly friendships and on Saturday night we were talking about loyalty and friendship, when our friends were over for dinner. But I'll save that big topic for another day as I must run. Love, Pam X
