Spring into action...
If you need to sweep the cobwebs from your mind - and spring into action - then check out my piece in today's Express Newspaper – it’s full of advice for putting a spring back into step with the change of seasons!
I'm away now until Wednesday 7th April - and won't have e-mail access to update this so I hope you have a wonderful Easter break. But first I'm doing my weekly "agony " slot on Tom Dunne's show on Dublin News talk radio at 10 AM. I'm always astounded by the variety of dilemmas that come in from listeners - today is no different as the producer has told me about some of the dilemmas including: a woman whose sister ruined her hen party last weekend and now she's worried what to do as her sister’s due to be her maid of honour at her wedding in a couple weeks. Then we have a man who used to go on the ‘pull’ with his best mate - and now his best mate can't accept that he's in love and has put his pulling days behind him, plus other interesting dilemmas.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: thinking about dilemmas one solution I always suggest - when someone describes a problem with another person - is to literally go through the ‘mental actions’ of swapping places with them. Really get into their shoes and think about how that other person feels.
If you can develop a bit of empathy about why they're doing or saying what they're doing, then you're much more likely to find a solution. But most of us fail to do this - and sometimes I find it very hard to manage - because we're so bound up in our side of things and being right about something.
In my absence I know my ‘sex blog’ will be changing over on iVillage.co.uk on Wednesday - had a couple really interesting dilemmas for that to blog about.
And check out "your e-mail of the week" which I've changed over this morning - a man going on a first date wanted a few tips - how exciting - a first date! Thanks as always for your e-mails.
Loving Audio Bullys and 'Only Man' - can't get it out of my head.
I hope you find lots of love, happiness and harmony over the next week, Pam X
