From tragic emotional nightmares, to lying about orgasms and happier things...
Let's hope and pray they’ve got the man who killed Jo Yeates but we've got to remember a person's innocent until proven guilty. It'd be a relief for her parents to have this piece of this nightmare puzzle.
So let's be thankful we're not in such a dreadful emotional nightmare as families who have lost people and on to happier things - I'm sure you're looking forward to the weekend! A reminder that when you e-mail me at "your e-mail of the week" I'm happy just to get new music, book and film suggestions - as manager dilemmas. Have had a big response to Tanya's e-mail I posted yesterday - a lot of the ladies have been lying about having orgasms.
Soooo glad that Eastenders is back on track - at least partly - with the Carol, Connor and Whitney storyline - some good old fashioned love triangles instead of the shocking baby swap story. I wait to see how they're going to rewrite that.
Surprise, surprise, a male politician's private life is in the press but this time he wasn't the one who dropped his trousers! I feel for anyone who's been cheated on - it's horrible - happened to me when I was very young - hope Alan Johnson sorts it out. What a betrayal - evidently his wife had an affair with his bodyguard.
In the midst of a busy workday yesterday I skived off to get a few highlights done (yay - but sadly not time for a full half head of 'lights') - and I grabbed a bite with a showbiz pal (you know I never name names) at PJ's in Covent Garden. Hadn't been there for ages and it was lovely to grab an hour with this amazing, bubbly woman. Happiness spreads - and she knows how to spread it.
Looking forward to a family birthday this weekend and I'm going to try and make "birthday brownies" as a good friend’s given me his amazing brownie recipe. Wish me luck! It could go so very wrong - burnt on the outside, too gooey on the inside.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I love giving family members surprises and this one doesn't know I've had some old family videos put onto DVDs for him. He's going to lurve it.
My thought is this - most people love sentimental surprises - putting together a photo album for them, a music collection, framing a photo, etc., so why not dream up a surprise for someone for their next birthday or event? Again, if you've got any good ideas please e-mail them to me - always looking out for ideaas.
Loved the bit of new music I caught on Radio 1 last night - particularly Sleighbells and also Jamie Woon (although two very different sounds) - think I might’ve flagged them up before. Happy Friday, Pam X
