Romantic views with the 'wrong' man...
Bleary-eyed after a lovely, early Christmas dinner with a friend last night at the Paramount Club. It's located at the top of Centre Point with spectacular views of London at night. So romantic - candlelit with super-discreet lighting. Again with a pal that’s not a "ladies man" so my hubby (who was at a charity thing) needn't worry! Would love to go there with my hubby for a romantic evening sometime soon.
Very excited as we’re getting our Christmas tree tomorrow and we'll be decorating it over the weekend - in-between going out to a couple Christmas drinks things. Love this part of Christmas - putting on Christmas music CDs as we decorate.
Today I'm keeping my head down and reading through the final manuscript for my new book How To Be a Happy Human published March 15th. Very excited about it but also trying to get the design right at this point. As well as picking through it with detective-like accuracy trying to find any little typos.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: sometimes you just need peace and quiet. It can be hard to resist answering the mobile and checking e-mails. But if a project needs doing, distractions are the last thing you need.
Too many people I meet have anxieties about disconnecting themselves from the drip-feed of their technology - not a very good 'emotional place' for the human heart to flourish.
Saying that, the only distraction I might allow myself is from Example - loving him right now!
Right, I'm off to go hunker down and get on with it, love, Pam X
