Sit on your revenge...
Today I've written commentary in the Sun newspaper about the extraordinary story of a woman who seeks revenge against other couples because an ex-boyfriend cheated on her. Come on, if you're going to seek revenge then choose the right target - the person who actually hurt you.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: But as I always say about revenge you should sit on plans for 24 hours while you calm down, you should run your vengeful idea past a friend who isn't hot tempered, and you should never do anything illegal or harmful for whatever reason.
Ultimately the best revenge is to move on with your head held high and make sure that person knows you're making a success of your life!
On another note I've got to say that happiness is a well-trained spouse... there was a piece in the newspapers about how sharing chores with each other leads to relationship happiness. I can vouch for that! When I met my lovely Hubby 15 years ago I had to "encourage him" (er…slowly train him up) to share the household chores of a family household . He came from living as a recently single man into my household, post-divorce with two young children in it. And there's a massive difference between running a family household and a bachelor pad. Although I've got to say his bachelor pad was fabulous - romantic and cosy - he won me over!
Enjoyed the top 100 selling singles of the last decade on Radio One yesterday - dipping in and out when I had time - there were some surprises like Craig David coming in around about No. 92 - evidently he’s making a comeback - he was a massive guilty pleasure of mine seven or eight years ago - absolutely loved him.
Hubby and I are heading off to see friends who live about two hours away later today - we're all going to take each other on at table tennis - lethal!
Lots of love, Pam X
