Ridiculous celebrity break-ups and your relationship...
Last night I went to a workshop of sorts, which was all about creativity, and if I hadn't been struggling with a cold I think I could’ve put more into it. Still, I enjoyed doing something different. You know that's one message I keep banging on about!
Swiftly moving on to the world of celebrities: I'm appalled that Brad and Angelina's relationship might already be breaking up - but how can we possibly know the truth as newspaper reports vary tremendously. So let's just say it's the truth - it's appalling because they have twins who are only 17 months old plus all of their other children. This smacks of the selfish, rarefied world of celebrity egos who can't cope if everything's not 'all about them'. Well I certainly hope if it's the truth they're trying their hardest to sort things out because their children.
But it leads me to Jennifer Aniston who held her head high during that awful time when Brad left her for Angelina about five years ago. I'd love to write her a letter along these lines: How to Nab Back Your Ex! I'd give her top tips about bringing him back from a woman I've dubbed the 'seductress of the dark arts'.
Back to celebrities and their ridiculous breakups after short marriages - is there any hope for us mere mortals who struggle with the daily grind, debts and stress of all sorts, when people who have every imaginable thing can't dig deep and find the inner resources to make things work - or even to seek the very best professional help to show them the way??
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you're struggling in your relationship take a look at my latest article on the homepage. Because especially if you have children it’s worth pulling out all the stops to try and ‘meld’ your hearts back together. Think what you can do to make things better -rather than asking your partner to do all the changing. If you make the first piece of change, it can show them the way!
Have loads of work which I must get to - including thinking about the item on This Morning television tomorrow - if I'm going to slip out and have a quick lunch with a pal. Have the Friendly Fires on in the background - actually good music to work too!
