Tonight's the night we can chat on the phone, with so much heartbreaking news...
Tonight's the last night of my summer special on BBC Western region radio - get in touch after 10 PM ring 0845 301 1034, OR text 81333, start your message with the word 'LOVE'. We can chat through any dilemma or issue on your mind.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: With all the sad and heartbreaking news over the weekend I hope you and yours are safe. Nothing is more important than holding tight to the ones you love.
I've heard some people commenting that Amy Winehouse was a very caring and emotionally generous friend to those who knew her - I've met many people who give so much love to others that they don't have enough love left to care for themselves and I fear she falls into this sad category. There's a balance to be struck by leaving yourself enough energy to look after your own needs and giving to others.
On to lighter thoughts and thankfully I didn't manage to poison anyone yesty at lunch experimenting with a new Italian rustic style stuffed pork loin - stuffed with loads of fresh herbs, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, honey, etc. - was very tasty but a bit overcooked! I have a problem with nearly-burning most food!
Caught up on The Killing - so atmospheric - then again Seattle is so grey and drizzly so it's the perfect backdrop for a crime thriller. The acting’s phenomenal - perfectly cast.
Look forward to speaking tonight! Have a relaxing Sunday, Pam X.
