Give me three-way any day, Valentine pressure, analysing your dreams...
Caught up with EastEnders late last night - having ignored the baby swap story for the last few weeks - in their panic over complaints - it was slightly disconcerting to have it briefly reintroduced last night.
Give me the good old three-way relationship storyline of Phil, Glenda, and Shirley any day - and chuck in a bit of ‘near-murder’ by Ian Beale and I'm a happy fan.
More confused than ever by the discussion on Radio 4 this morning about people who have either overpaid or underpaid their taxes...makes me hope I haven't been overcharged! You'd have to be an economic genius to matter what's being said about the state of HMRC right now.
Last night Sue Marchant and I chatted about dream analysis on BBC radio Cambridgeshire – the programme goes out across East Anglia on a Monday night. It was interesting - and fun - analysing some listeners' dreams - all of them very different.
Maybe this week I could analyse one of your dreams for "your e-mail of the week" when I post a new one on Thursday.
V excited about catching up with my ‘radio partner in crime’ Nigel Williams today - he presents Jazz FM breakfast show. Not only are we pals but we're working on an Internet radio project - will keep you posted. He and I originally worked together at Heart FM.
Thoughts are turning to Valentine's having seen the story about Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox supposedly going to spend it together as two single friends.
If you're single definitely line up a fun anti-Valentine’s night with another single pal. And if you're part of a couple now’s the perfect time to start planning a romantic evening! Don't leave it too late - you wouldn't believe how many panicked e-mails I get for ideas on the day itself.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Valentine’s should be fun - not about pressure and not stressful. You know the original tale of St Valentine was incredibly romantic - so rather than trying to create the perfect evening why not to try to create a love vibe - the two of you, some candles, something sparkling, something tasty, no interruptions, some mood music, etc.
With the recession the last thing you should be worried about is buying gifts - your time and love are the most precious gifts. And that’s true across any of your relationships - romantic, friendship, family ones.
Yay, tomorrow night’s the long-awaited Manic Street Preachers gig with Absolute radio - they sounded brilliant on Radio 2 last week. Enjoy your Tuesday, Pamx
