Relationship deal breakers or deal makers, love lives of the rich and famous, bad boys or good guys...
There are certain stumbling blocks to relationships - those deal breakers or deal makers - that everyone has to face at times. Those key things like whether or not to have a baby, where to live, whose job is more ‘important’, that can make or break your relationship.
I've written an article that's gone live on MSN UK Life and Style channel about these issues - if you're facing a deal breaker in your relationship please do check it out.
Looking forward to chatting tonight on Let's Talk Sex at 10:45 PM about those celebrities and their love lives - can't believe my four week stint's coming to an end - it's been loads of fun... but, crikey it's tiring on top of a 40-50 hour week to do three nights a week following and commenting on those celebs’ stories!
TODAY’S TIP: Back to deal breakers - a fundamental point about all these big issues is not to let them overwhelm you.
Even the most profound issues like about whether or not to have a baby - one of you thinks you're ready to become parents and the other doesn't want a child - can be overcome.
The key ingredients for doing so? Take time to listen to your partner's side of things.
Explore the fears and anxieties you both have about the issue.
Definitely look at common ground you already share on what seems to be an issue.
Try and build on the common ground... a stronger foundation is less likely to be rocked.
Over to EastEnders - my guilty pleasure – Whitney’s been on the edge pulled between Tyler and Fat-boy [not my name for him, that's the character's nickname!]. Should be an easy choice - Fat-boy adores her but sadly the good guys get overlooked too often. For now she's gone with him...but being a soap we know what's looming!
Back in real life? Forget the bad boys - give the good guys a look in!
Take care, Pam x
