Man-up, friends with fringe benefits, he'll never commit...
Oh dear, Leon and Tom where were your ‘proverbials’ last night on The Apprentice!? Watched it late after our last dinner with houseguests that leave finally today. They needed to man-up - and for Tom to stand his ground as PM - and for Leon to just do something - anything
It's Thursday so I just posted a new "your e-mail of the week" – it’s from ‘Penny’ – she’s had sex with a friend a few times only to find he doesn't want more than those friendly fringe benefits. How often do I hear this story? Check out my advice if this is happening to you.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: This goes back to that age old dilemma of men and women - and can they be friends or not?? I think they can, I've had straight male friends - only on a couple of occasions have I felt friendly flirting seems to signal there’d be something more.
But let's cut to the facts – even if you fancy a friend you don't have to act on it! Or if your friend says they fancy you, set them straight. It's not that complicated!
I'm beginning to think we all have to grow up a little bit with this issue... we don't have to make things so complicated - whispers about fancying a friend, wondering about if they fancy us, and it goes on and on - a lot of the time I think it just gives excitement to people's lives.
No surprise that George Clooney’s supposedly a single man again - gorgeous George isn't going to settle down for anyone - a classic commitmentphobe! His stunning, talented girlfriend wasn't enough and for a man like him no one will ever be. No doubt there will be a new glamorous girl on his arm very soon.
Couldn't make the Kings of Leon in Hyde Park last night due to a work emergency - and dinner with the houseguests - thankfully I saw them at the O2 a couple weeks back. Then I was asked to Hyde Park for Saturday night - and the mum-in-law’s coming for the weekend - so missing out on that too... gotta get more music in my life!
Enjoy your day, Pam x
