Love and life, where is James Bond when you need him, tears and more...
It's the first Monday of the month and that means I'll be having a lively (and lovely) chat at 815 tonight with Sue Marchant on BBC radio Cambridgeshire - and beyond - a friend of mine in Northamptonshire heard it last month... we cover anything to do with life and love. We also take callers so if you have a dilemma listen in on the Net and give us a ring.
Isn't David Walliams a star for his 24 hour game show marathon? Caught a bit over the weekend - not only is the man a comic genius but he has an amazing warm streak.
Sad to see Kylie pictured in tears recounting her breast cancer struggle- can’t even begin to imagine - I once had a scare and thankfully it was only that. But the few days I waited for the results from the Royal Marsden Hospital seemed an eternity. I'm sure part of her tears were about her ‘luck’ (if you can call it that) at having come through the worst.
Where's James Bond when you need him? Obviously not in Libya at the weekend when one of our "spies" was captured in Libya. Not so a secret mission after all - the thing is, many spies have undoubtedly been busted in all sorts of countries over the years and we just didn't hear about it.
OMG, there have been some gorgeous wedding gowns pictured in the run-up to Will’s and Kate's marriage - evidently Sarah Burton who succeeded the sad Alexander McQueen has been chosen to design it...er, having had two weddings myself I can assure you I chose a very different dress for my second wedding!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: If you happen to be getting married for a second time it's definitely good luck to go for something completely different. In making a fresh start that means letting go of the past - harder for some people I've spoken to.
Time to do some soul-searching if you're settling down again and yet you're still haunted by the ghost of your ex. That's what they mean about bringing emotional baggage into your next relationship - the big fat, sad suitcases weighed down with your past.
Finally listened to Alpines that someone recommended... and highly recommend you check out this duo’s tune Drive... completely icy cool!
Sending healing vibes to Dougie of McFly - thank goodness he's recognised he needed help at a young age.
Ahhh, had the laziest Sunday - complete with bliss... read the papers, watched Come Dine with Me (you know it's addictive), chatted on the phone, ate cakes, and it was only marred by a little tidying up.
Take care, Pam X
