Pets have moods and sad news...
Calling all pet owners - do you believe your pets have moods and personalities? Well I definitely do and I've written a piece in the Express newspaper today based on research into dogs feeling depressed.
Onto a completely different subject… climaxes… on my weekly iVillage.co.uk blog today I've given some advice to a woman who never climaxes. There's so much you can do to enhance your pleasure - try, try and try again in the least stressful and MOST relaxed ways.
What terribly sad news about the phenomenal Claire Rayner who has died after a long illness. She was my agony aunt role model and a complete star when it came to campaigning for patients rights.
The last time I met her was at a Terrence Higgins Trust event two summers ago and she was as effervescent and enthusiastic as she always was on television. I remember meeting her in TV green rooms in the 90s, like on GMTV, and thinking what a one-woman-whirlwind she was.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: If there was one thing I'd take from someone like Claire it's to try and give as much of yourself to others. We can all be a bit selfish, living life the way we do now, trying to keep up with everything.
Instead also remember to give even a little bit of yourself to make someone else a little happier.
AMAZING NEWS about the miners in Chile finally being rescued! Tt's going to be a day-by-day adjustment back to real life.
Enjoyed the film Ghost last night...on the positive side I thought Ewan McGregor was pretty good, Pierce Brosnan was definitely good, and Tom Wilkinson was fantastic at playing an ageing, creepy, CIA agent. But at times when it was supposed to be atmospheric the audience laughed at lines that shouldn't have been laughed at...so somehow the balance was wrong. Much preferred Robert Harris's book.
Then went for sushi at the little place above the Japanese shop near Centre Point....good sign that there are always Japanese tourists eating there. Was delicious!
Happy days, seeing an old pal tonight that I haven't seen in eight years...Guess we've both been busy! Have a great day, Pam X
