The rules of engagement, get heard...
If you've just got engaged I'd like to flag up to you that you've entered potentially rough waters. During the engagement phase couples are likely to have bigger, longer, angrier rows than they've ever had. On MSN UK I've had an article go live about the "eight essential rules of engagement" - it highlights ways of ensuring your engagement is as calm and happy as possible.
The Jersey Boys was great! Hadn't realised just how tough a Jersey-style upbringing Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons had. Absolutely loved the actor who played Frankie - charismatic and with a fabulous voice.
Had just read the day before that elder statesman of proper acting Tom Conti had been criticising musicals taking over the West End. Yep, there should be room for both serious drama and musicals but theatres put on shows that sell the most tickets.
This argument goes in cycles and he's probably on a bit of a losing battle - with the recession people want the fun and uplifting experience of a musical.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: doesn't mean a voice shouldn't be heard or a battle waged these circumstances. We only get change in our government, society, etc., if people make their voices heard.
And after tonight’s X Factor I'm sure the campaign to keep Wagner in will rumble on - crazy!
