The most happy New Year ever!
Arghhh… after a wonderful evening at friends didn't get to sleep until 4a.m. so the first day of 2010 might be a bit of a write-off considering we were planning to do all sorts of things. Instead we had breakfast in bed at 11 a.m. made by Hubby - lovely to be spoilt - so I'll have to spoil him sometime soon.
Not going to name-drop but quite a well-known actor was there last night and he had some very funny anecdotes - kept us entertained then we watched fireworks at midnight as snowflakes began to fall - it was beautiful and clear despite a bit of snow.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: It doesn't take a lot to spoil someone and I'm determined to make 2010 the year that the people I love really know it. It's so easy to get caught up in long hours at work. Don't we all have to reset our boundaries from time to time? And as I said yesterday the best way to get going on a resolution is to start small.
Needed something like the Prodigy or Dizzee Rascal to get me going this morning - it's incredible how music can change your mood. Another resolution of mine is to get out and see more live music this year.
Most of all I hope for better health and lots of happiness and I wish the same for you - the most happy New Year ever - as we step into 2010, much love, Pam X
