Sex and more sex...
Had a wonderful lunch yesterday at St Alban, Piccadilly with my girlfriend who is a top bird. We shared their paella that was tasty and filling on a chilly day.
Spoke on City Talk radio at drive-time yesterday about sex addiction off the back of the Tiger Woods story (not saying that he's one of course - want to make that clear!). I believe can exist like any other addiction -there are a few crucial and key elements that are similar in all addictions - like the desire for risk, getting the buzz from something illicit, sneaky or illegal, with brain chemistry changes that go with the addictive behaviour, followed by a crash, shame and guilt - but then they desire kicks in again for the buzz.
Sometimes sex addicts aren't good at communicating their emotional needs, are thrill seekers by nature, and often have cross addictions. Depression can go hand-in-hand with this behaviour
TODAY’S THOUGHT: If you’re using sex for any such reason – stop! It’s destructive and dangerous to your health and wellbeing. Seek help!

Tonight hubby and I have been invited to a charity ball benefitting women’s cancers. A good cause and I’m sure we’ll have a great time with my Aussie pal and her partner.
