From lovely people to love cheats....
Yesterday the Dancing on Ice Friday team couldn't have been a more lovely bunch of people. They made it so easy - after the long trip out to where they film it at Elstree Studios. It was lovely to see Ben Shepherd, Coleen Nolan who looked incredibly hot in her red Valentines outfit and the lovely Dr Hilary Jones. Have a picture with them to put up on site when I get around to it.
Later on (after meetings) I was listening to Jeremy Hardy, Milton Jones, Will Smith and Sandy Toksvig On Radio 4 who all had me in stitches - what a brilliant roundup of top comic minds - started Friday night off well before having a quiet dinner with family.
Can’t believe the pictures in today's papers of shamed footballer John Terry and his Wife Toni snuggling up with him in Dubai. But then again the cynic in me says that he is her meal ticket no matter having set a precedent for being a love cheat who can’t change. To be fair, she's probably thinking that it's worth another shot seeing as they have two little children.
Sticking with men that don't have any sense I heard Vernon Kay this morning begin his radio 1 show with an apology to his family - wow - that was a short one! He obviously felt very uncomfortable having to make it. And how would you feel? Like a complete twit (and worse - but I'm too polite to say it) - considering he has a beautiful wife, two children and all of the success anyone could hope for.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: here's a way to stop yourself from sex texting, flirting too much, getting into bed with the wrong person, etc., if you're about to do something, stop a moment and think how you'd feel if your partner was about to do to you. If you'd feel bad - and wish they wouldn't do it - then you shouldn't do it! It's a very simple rule of thumb!
I hope you're feeling the love-vibe over the Valentines weekend. Remember I’ll put up a new ‘e-mail of the week’ on Monday so get yours sent to me, cheers, Pam X
