Dark side of relationships, more on male sexual harrasment, if I was as....
Does the nation need to know that Natasha Giggs alleges she had an abortion paid for by brother-in-law footballer Ryan Giggs as reported in yesterday's News of the World? Aren't there some things that should remain private? She's scraping the bottom of the barrel of the darker side of human relationships for the £££s - no one benefits from these stories and all concerned should feel that "old-fashioned" emotion shame - it's simply shameful.
Calling all sexually harassed men in the workplace - I've had a huge response to Jack's e-mail that I posted last Thursday on "your e-mail of the week" - click on the "gold star" on my homepage and you can get in touch there.
Not only loads of support for Jack, but many other men who have shared their difficult and demoralising experiences. One thing that rings out loud and clear is that men seem to get sexually harassed in offices that are female-dominated offices... and that seems pretty logical as women can develop a pack-like mentality just as men can.
So I have a few words for women: you might think it's funny, a bit of a joke, and that it’s harmless to make the man in your office the centre of your risqué comments but it isn't.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: This is definitely a situation where you should mentally reverse the tables and try and imagine yourself in his shoes. How would you feel if you worked in a small, intense office where you were the only woman with five, six or more men - and they always joked about your bra size, etc?
Not a pretty thought!
Oops, Zara Phillips fiancé Mike Tindall might have some explaining to do after photos of his stag do in Florida have emerged...hmmm, she might not be best pleased.
Having heard from my friends at the Isle of Wight Festival and seeing the pictures of other music was amazing it was a mud bath from start to finish... maybe being here with the houseguests wasn't such a bad thing after all.
As Bill Gates calls for the international vaccination programme to reach the final hurdle and eradicate certain diseases in the next couple years, if only every billionaire would donate as much he has to good works.
Simply can’t imagine having that much money and not spending my life searching for the solutions to the dire health problems facing the third world... no child should be dying of diarrhoea or pneumonia or any of these diseases...and in tribute to Travie's words, "if I was a billionaire I wouldn't be worried about being on the cover of Forbes mag" - no, I'd be worried about ensuring all children had the basics of warmth, nourishment and shelter and love.
Eek, first meeting in nine minutes, got to run, happy Monday, Pamx
