Getting over a betrayal and other agony dilemmas...
Have you just found out your partner's cheated on you? I'm sure you're blown away with the devastation and betrayal - it's a positively horrid experience. If this has happened please do take a look at my article in today's Sun newspaper. I wrote this after seeing that Abbey Clancy is taking back Peter Crouch despite his bad behaviour.
It’s Tuesday so it means "agony" time on Dublin News talk radio after 10 AM. You can get in touch and listening through the Net - the producer’s told me I have some juicy dilemmas to tackle. I always love doing this slot and today we're tackling a man worried about his wife's drinking, a woman fed up with her partner's love of football, and a man worried that his divorce will affect his young son. It's all happening in this thing called life!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: it was refreshing to hear from the producer that this man is troubled over the effect of the divorce on his child. Too many parents wrongly assume that young children don't realise what's happening. They do - they're emotional sponges!
We'd have a lot less heartache in this country if more parents paid attention to how their breakup affects their children. And sometimes, shockingly, they don't really care - and they use their children to get back at their partner. I've seen this too many times and it breaks my heart.
If you're going through a breakup or divorce - and there are children involved - I'm pleading with you to put their feelings first!
I've just uploaded a recent article on this topic - see "hot off the press" on my homepage.
Fab to see that Die Antwoord getting more airplay - really love the crazy hybrid music - original stuff!
Enjoy your Tuesday, Pam X
