Whizzing off, office party etiquette, don't do the walk of shame...
Whizzing off to Teddington Studios filming the TV pilot - hope all goes to plan!
Girls, if you're heading off to an office party (have my first work-related Xmas party on Tuesday) I've written a guide for digging yourself out of that embarrassing hole after you behaved badly at the office party. Haven’t we all been there? It's gone live on the MSN UK Her channel - lots of handy tips.
Obviously the guys need a guide too but I've written this one for the women's channel.
TODAY’S TIP: the thing is, if you feel mortified about bad behaviour at the Christmas party it feels like you're the only person who's ever flirted outrageously with the boss, told your manager exactly what you think of them, etc.
Hold your head high - you're far from the only person who's had to say ‘sorry’ after a seasonal do.
The best tip is to get an apology in straightaway - don't let it hang over your head.
Enjoy your weekend, and if you're heading to a party don't overdo it, you’ll be less likely to do the walk of shame at your office on Monday.
Take care, Pam x
