From phenomenal bravery to bitching...
I don't want to have a "bah humbug" approach (as a friend said) to the snowy scenes but…yay! I'm very happy to see much of it melted with the rain this morning!
I just caught some of Christina Schmid’s Interview on Radio Four and I was reminded of her courage after the death of her bomb disposal husband, Olaf, at the end of October last year. What a phenomenal woman who tragically has grown in wisdom through her loss. This brave woman can serve as a role model for anyone who's been through tragedy. She was saying she might get involved in charitable work and I hope it's a fantastic success for her!
From the phenomenal to the ridiculous - watched celebrity Big Brother last night since I cancelled going out - loved the crossword where all the backstabbing comments - made by housemates about each other - were revealed. Clever way to try and stir things up although the housemates seemed to take in fairly good spirits. The thing is, when you bitch about someone - you think it's okay - but the minute you hear someone’s bitching about you - most people get up in arms about it.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you're going to bitch about people - face the facts - that you're going to get it back. Whether it's karma, or the fact that if you’re annoyed with someone (so you bitch or gossip about them) then they’re probably annoyed with you too! Don't be shocked when you find out this is going on!
Time to own up to some pop-tastic guilty pleasures: the poppy, Boys like Girls, and their track The Great Escape - reminds me of driving down a big, wide American highway with the wind in my hair. And 3 by Britney! There's just something about the intro that sticks in my mind!
Loads of meetings, must run, love, Pam X
