Beware: how long have you been together?
Fab weekend only marred by Sunday chores - I always wonder if we have more chores than other families. They just seem never ending - and the hubby and I split the list and got to them yesterday.
Looking forward to chatting to the fab Martel Maxwell on Sun-talk radio after 1.15 this afternoon about Cheryl Tweedy's "exhaustion".
Now, how long have you and your partner been together? If more than three years, and you'd like to talk about marriage, then check out my thoughts in today's Daily Mail newspaper. This interview is based on a big piece of relationship research showing that there's a "golden window" to decide to commit to each other - if commitment’s what you want. Obviously not everybody has commitment in mind!
And if you've got sensitive news to give to someone please take a look at the little feature I wrote in the Daily Express newspaper today about "handling home truths" and the gentle art of telling the truth. Omg I hate giving bad news but like everyone else there are times when things have to be faced between two people.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: We all have to face these sorts of things at some point, and I say get practical about giving sensitive or difficult news. Plan it, practice it, break it down into manageable pieces!
Vacating my office now for a lovely electrician named Chris. Now I don't have anything against Chris but I'd rather not have an electrician - no matter how lovely - disrupt my morning's work but the electrics need doing in here.
Happy Monday, Pam X
