Beginning to think I was the only one, keep on trying and you might get there....
I was beginning to think I was the only person in the country not watching BGT - but on Friday night, eating out with friends, I found out they’re not watching it either.
It's never grabbed me, I find the silly acts are annoying scattered amongst the few people with any talent like the winner Scots singer Jai... but when it comes around to X Factor that's another story...will watch!
Caught up on The Apprentice (I'm running about four days late on telly) - the right people went - Ellie didn't contribute enough and Vincent started the series full of himself and ended up a shadow of himself.
Clearly the BBC pick contestants they think make good telly (not so sure about that one - the tasks are more interesting than the contestants) and aren't really the future business brains of Britain!
Unbelievable, we pulled off our rustic Mediterranean menu for friends last night - this must be a first for a dinner party of mine with no culinary disasters.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: this is proof that if you fail at something - keep on trying! Believe me I've served up some fairly awful meals - but now that I've been really trying hard I'm finally pulling off some recipes!
So if there's something you're not particularly good at - but would like to be better - keep on plugging away and it might just happen.
Yup, sure, as in my case you might serve up a load of third-rate food to your long-suffering friends but eventually you might get there!
New summer tune alert: Ready 2 Go – Martin Solveig – Kele from Bloc Party does the vocals - massive Kele fan!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Pam X
