Explicit questions, go on - apologise!
Another ruthless dictator 'Mad Dog' Gaddafi is dead... let's hope the 'teething problems' Libyans face in bringing democracy (hopefully) to their country pass quickly. A lot to ask in the circumstances. Sending love and hope to the innocent people over there.
Onto happier things - tunes for the weekend...check out M83's Midnight City from their album Hurry Up. And to get you in the mood for a party Cover Drive's Lick Ya Down is a hyper-pop version of Nicki Minaj.
Hope you're looking forward to a lovely weekend - I'm shooting off for a long one - please let the crisp, clear [and cold] sunshine continue! Will be sorry to miss my celebrity relationship slot on Let's Talk Sex tonight - but can't wait to get out of London.
Last night on Davenport After Dark on Dublin Newstalk radio we chatted about all sorts of things - crikey there were some explicit questions coming through!
I've just posted a new article - on my homepage you can select "hot off the press" - it's about those often difficult-to-say words that make an apology. Check it out if you think you're owing apology - or maybe you're feeling guilty because you owe your partner one.
TODAY’S TIP: if you're finding it hard to apologise to your partner you've got to ask yourself why. I'm sure you might come up with this answer: to apologise makes you feel vulnerable.
Vulnerability - that's so often the key to saying sorry. You've got to start building your confidence today if deep down you feel vulnerable in your relationship.
Begin by making a note - think in ink - write it down – of the best things about yourself and the best things about your partner. Think of the good things you share and start emphasising those when little sneaky, insecure thoughts creep into your mind.
Fight those vulnerable thoughts and keep reminding yourself of both of your good qualities - and how you want this relationship to work. You might find you can say sorry!
Recorded a special music session with TEED on channel 4 last night - will check it out Sunday night when we get back. Such a creative guy.
Have a lovely few days, Pam x
