Friday 13th and women cheats...
It's Friday the 13th and I like to buck the trend and think of it as a ‘good luck’ day! Although considering I had a filling fall out last night and - lucky me - I get to spend the afternoon at the dentist having my molar drilled out and re-filled - then this afternoon fills me with dread.
Thankfully it's not too painful - but a bit embarrassing when I nearly choked on the little white chunk of filling when out to dinner with friends!
Here's wishing you a lucky and lovely Friday the 13th!
No surprises that a survey report has found women are better at cheating because they're better lying about it - the stories I've heard from women about illicit affairs would make your toes curl. One point this report made was that because women are so good at multitasking it means they're better at managing their relationship plus their bit on the side.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: forget about the many clients who have confessed having affairs to me, over the years I've seen a couple friends lie through their teeth to their other halves. It's horrible when you feel like piggy-in-the-middle knowing that your friend is cheating on their partner -- and your friends with her partner!
Part of me says don't put your friend in this position - if you're going to have an affair (which, come to think of it, there are much better ways of sorting out your relationship troubles!) and you feel the need to confide in someone about it - then confide in someone who doesn't know your partner!
I really never want to be in that position again. Because when it’s a friend asking you not to tell their husband - but they still want to tell you all the details - it makes me squeamish quite frankly. Please think about it before you confide.
The weekend’s almost here and apart from my journey to the dentist I'm looking forward to a chilled out weekend - some of it we're spending with friends - and some with each other... oh gaawwd, probably doing chores! Hope it's not all chores for you!
Take care, Pam X
